The point is to match protection to environment, not to buy the maximum everywhere. Full stainless construction for a dry inland warehouse is money spent on a problem that does not exist there. The skill is reading the environment correctly — which is why sharing your actual site conditions gives a better answer than a generic "corrosion-resistant" order.
Galvanising is the foundation, but in a genuinely coastal, salt-laden environment it is usually combined with a further coating and corrosion-resistant hardware, and stainless components at the most exposed points. Relying on galvanising alone in an aggressive environment shortens the door's life.
Because those components are often specified with less protection than the door leaf, yet they sit in the same corrosive air and take mechanical wear that breaks any coating. In a corrosive environment they need protection matched to the leaf — otherwise they fail first and stop the whole door working.
It depends on how far the corrosion has gone. Surface corrosion caught early can sometimes be treated and re-coated; structural corrosion of the leaf or tracks usually means replacement.
