Fire rated doors are specialist doors tested and purpose-built to withstand fire for a specified duration, giving buildings time to evacuate safely and preventing fire from spreading between compartments. Rudhar Group manufactures fire rated doors in FD30, FD60, FD90 and FD120 ratings (denoting 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes of fire resistance) for staircase enclosures, lift lobbies, plant rooms and fire compartments, compliant with NBC 2016 and IS 3614.

Fire doors serve two vital, complementary functions:

Rudhar Group offers galvanised rolling shutters, aluminium rolling shutters, grill rolling shutters, polycarbonate (transparent) rolling shutters, GI puff insulated rolling shutters and industrial heavy-duty rolling shutters. All are available in manual and motorized operation.

Manual rolling shutters use a gear-crank handle and are suitable for lower-frequency use and cost-conscious installations. Motorized shutters use an electric motor with push button and remote control, ideal for commercial and industrial setups with frequent opening and closing cycles.

Rudhar Group manufactures rolling shutters with a width of up to 25 feet and height up to 20 feet as standard. Larger custom sizes can also be fabricated on request, confirmed during the free site survey.

A well-maintained rolling shutter from Rudhar Group lasts 15-20 years. Service life depends on the material type, frequency of use, and regular maintenance including lubrication and alignment checks.

Yes. Our team conducts a detailed site survey to assess opening dimensions, lintel height, headroom and side room availability. Rolling shutters can be retrofitted into most existing doorways and loading bays.

Rudhar Group provides a 1-year warranty on the motorized drive system and a 5-year warranty on the shutter laths (curtain). The warranty covers manufacturing defects.
