Rudhar Group manufactures fire rated doors in FD30, FD60, FD90 and FD120 ratings (denoting 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes of fire resistance) for staircase enclosures, lift lobbies, plant rooms and fire compartments, compliant with NBC 2016 and IS 3614.

Fire doors serve two vital, complementary functions:

  • When closed, they form a barrier that stops the spread of fire and smoke between compartments.

Rudhar Group internal roll-up doors operate at 0.8-1.5 m per second opening speed and 0.5-1.0 m per second closing speed. For a 3-metre high door, a full open cycle completes in 2-4 seconds.

Internal roll-up doors are engineered for high-cycle applications. Rudhar Group standard internal roll-up doors are rated for 200,000-500,000 cycles. For ultra-high-frequency applications, heavy-duty models with extended cycle ratings are available.

The standard curtain is transparent PVC (clear visibility between zones). Also available are opaque white PVC, grey or coloured PVC, and insulated PVC with foam core for thermal zones.
